BCHS Quarterly Speaker Meeting

Founded in 1869, Calvary Episcopal Church became one of the first four congregations in Bastrop. Its ups and downs through its first hundred years was highlighted by construction of an 1883 building that became the first structure in the county to receive a Texas historical medallion. Its growth in recent decades followed the pattern of change in the wider community. Ken Kesselus, who served nearly 20 years as its minister, will narrate its story.
