BCMRA Canteen Dance
| The Bastrop County Mental Retardation Association (BCMRA) hosts a Canteen dance for those with special needs at the Smithville Recreation Center, 106 Royston. Attendees of all ages from Bastrop and all surrounding counties are encouraged to attend and dance to music provided by DJ Vic Rodriguez (plays even months) and DJ Superman Art Hernandez (plays odd months). The dance is from 6:30-9 p.m. and the admission charge is $2. If you would like to become a volunteer or a sponsor of one of our dances contact Kathy Lynch at 512-360-2714. Dates are April 7, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, Sept. 8, Oct. 20 and Dec. 8. |
