The Bastrop Opera House Presents Ruby Nelda Perez in Doña Rosita’s Jalapeño Kitchen (a one woman's comedy show - she's also Willie Pina's sister-n-law) A greedy developer stalks the border barrio of Salsipuedes, buying up properties for a proposed shopping mall. The proprietor of Dona Rosita's Jalapeno Kitchen is the last holdout among the landowners in the target area. Even as she packs up her possessions, Rosita (Ruby Nelda Perez) is still pondering the real estate contract that lies unsigned on on her table. Will she sign it?
