Midweek Slow Down at the BookHouse

Need a quiet, inspiring space to write, think, or just a little quiet time? Whether you’re writing a book, working on a poem, journaling, or gathering ideas, bring your notebook or work in progress, or begin something new while you’re here.

Midweek Slow Down is an invitation to make a little room for yourself. Settle in with your current read, put a few thoughts on paper, or discover the stories tucked into our shelves, cabinets, and curious corners. You can also simply sit and be still.

There’s no assigned reading or guided activity. Come on your own or with someone who enjoys a quiet evening, and spend the time in whatever way feels right for you.

First Wednesday of each month
Doors open at 6 PM, with BookHouse After Hours: Midweek Slow Down from 7–9 PM.

This experience is complimentary. Come for a little while or linger longer.
